You might have seen the Euler-Lagrange equation in PH1010 course. But how did it come out of the Law of Action? Well, turns out it is not true all the time.

It was a 2 hour talk where we went through mathematical “loopholes” that let us differentiate the undifferentiable, concept of Sobolov Spaces, “Hat” functions, Beltrami’s Indentity and applications of these concepts in physics.
